KNOW YOUR RISK! A bone density screening is often performed to help physicians determine the risk, or extent of, brittle bone development in a person’s body. The test uses special X-rays to measure the amount of calcium and other minerals in our bones, and can help diagnose certain concerns, such as the onset of osteoporosis, a condition in which bones may become brittle and can more easily break, especially in areas such as the hip, spine and wrist.
AN APPOINTMENT IS REQUIRED, and payment is due at the time of testing.
