Following evaluation and treatment, patients may be discharged home, admitted to the hospital for additional care, or transferred to another facility if a higher level of specialty care is required. When transfers are necessary, our team coordinates transportation and communication to help ensure a seamless transition of care.

What to Expect During Your Visit

We understand that a trip to the Emergency Department can be stressful and often unexpected. Our team is committed to providing a positive experience while delivering quality medical care.

Upon arrival, you will be assessed by a Registered Nurse who will evaluate your condition and prioritize care based on your medical needs.

An Emergency Department physician or provider will perform a medical evaluation, order any necessary diagnostic tests, and develop a treatment plan tailored to your condition. Registration staff are available to assist with insurance and patient information, and translation services are available when needed.

Throughout your visit, our team will communicate with you and your family, answer questions, and involve you in decisions regarding your care.
