A colorful new therapy space. The same commitment to helping children thrive.
At Macon Community Hospital, we’re always looking for new ways to support the health, development, and success of children throughout our community. Thanks to a grant from the Tennessee Arts Commission and the National Endowment for the Arts, our pediatric therapy space has been transformed with a vibrant, child-friendly mural designed to make therapy more welcoming, engaging, and fun for young patients.
The new mural creates an environment where imagination and healing come together. Filled with bright colors, familiar farm scenes, and playful artwork, the space helps children feel comfortable while encouraging participation, movement, and confidence throughout their therapy journey.
Our Pediatric Therapy Services program provides specialized physical, occupational, and speech therapy designed specifically for children. Using a personalized, family-centered approach, our therapists work closely with children and their caregivers to help each child reach important developmental milestones and achieve their fullest potential.
Services include support for developmental delays, autism spectrum disorder, feeding disorders, sensory processing challenges, speech and language delays, stuttering, fine and gross motor skill development, orthopedic injuries, torticollis, cerebral palsy, dyslexia, and other developmental or communication needs. Each treatment plan is tailored to the unique goals of the child and family.
Located within the MCH Therapy Annex, our pediatric therapy team provides convenient access to expert care close to home, helping local families avoid long drives while receiving the services their children need.
