Billy Snyder is a big supporter of local businesses, especially Macon Community Hospital. So, when Billy found out that the hospital was offering three vascular screenings this summer for just $110, he sprang into action.

“I partnered with Macon Community Hospital to offer $10 to the next 20 people who received the three screenings,” explains Billy, who is a Life and Annuity Certified Professional(LACP).

“I just believe it’s so important for people to take control of their health. Early detection can be life-saving and prevent minor health issues from becoming serious.”

Billy participated in the three screenings: a Carotid Artery Ultrasound to check for plaque buildup in the carotid artery, a second ultrasound to check for plaque in the lower body,and a third to check for an aneurysm in the abdominal aorta.
“The screenings were easy—painless and non-invasive!” Billy says. “It only took about 15 minutes to do all three,and the ultrasound technicians were very helpful.”

Billy says he uses Macon Community Hospital all the time, for everything from scans to checkups. “I always encourage people to go there because it’s such a great facility with fantastic doctors and nurses,” Billy says. “Macon Community Hospital offers all of the main services that hospitals in Nashville provide, and its specialty clinic partners provide even more care.
